Glanmarlais Residential Care Home

Glanmarlais is a Dementia Care Home situated in the middle of the picturesque Village of Llandybie between the towns of Ammanford and Llandeilo, within the County of Carmarthenshire. Glanmarlais is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Glanmarlais was re-opened in 2018. The care home was built in 1969 run by the local authority before a complete refurbishment under the new ownership of Padda Care. Glanmarlais has a luxury hotel feel as you walk into the main entrance hall. There is always a warm welcome at any time of day. Glanmarlais provides 72 spacious ensuite bedrooms which are spread over three floors. The ground floor has a large dining room areas with windows looking out onto our enclosed garden.

We have a hairdressing salon and large day room with floor to ceiling windows. On the first floor, there is a large day room with spectacular views of the recreation field and forestry that surrounds the rear of the home and a quiet lounge which is ideal for chatting and spending time with family when they visit.

Michelle Acty is the Registered Home Manager. Michelle has extensive relevant experience with over 20 years within the care sector, working for both the Swansea local authority and in the private sector.
